A retired Interior Health Dietitian Manager, Deanna volunteered for six years in the Food Bank and as Board Secretary. In 2020 she became our first of two part-time Staff members!
Main Overseer, Office Administrator/Scheduler, Communications, Grant Writer, Community Liason. Reports to Board of Directors.
We welcomed Julie to our team in June 2021! She has an LPN and entrepreneur background, also volunteering with Cranbrook Food Recovery and schools.
Daily Operations, Purchasing & Warehouse, Volunteer Scheduling. Reports to the Executive Director .
Our new facility provided a great opportunity to share our space with these two like-minded hunger-relief programs. It just makes sense to share food, equipment, resources, grant writing and allows us to serve our community better! Both are Community Connections of Sourtheast BC programs, and partnering with them helps us help others better!
