Food Access Options for Anyone Living in the Cranbrook Area
We can help get you food!
We offer various options for food access. Here is how to register for food access if you are a new client:
Get in Touch:
Give us a call or drop in on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays between 12:30pm-2:30pm to book a registration appointment. Our number is 250-426-7664.
Register:
When you arrive for your appointment, expect us to ask for some demographic information such as ethnicity and primary source of income.
In addition, you’ll be asked to provide ID for all members of the same household and proof of residency (phone bill, etc).
Clients who do not bring these items may be asked to sign up for another appointment.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Receiving Food:
Once registered, contact (call or drop in) the Food Bank between 9:30 am and 11:30 am to book a Choice Shopping or Delivery appointment, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Appointments will be scheduled between 12 pm and 3 pm the same day.
We offer Choice Shopping Appointments, Delivery appointments (Seniors and Mobility Challenged), and Emergency Hampers
Please note on your first visit to the Food Bank, please bring your ID’s for those in your household
Permission:
Permission is required for anyone to book an appointment or perform a Shopping appointment on behalf of someone else.

Please be advised, we operate a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY in respect to physical or verbal abuse towards our Employees, Volunteers and Clients. Please see Anti-Violence and Anti-Harassment Policy.

We invite you to come shopping if you have food allergies or a special diet. We try and accommodate special diets but we rely on donations so selection will always vary. *Please let our office know if you have a special diet, and we can make a special note on your file.
Yes, however, emergency hampers can be picked up any time during business hours.
ID is required for all household members on the first visit to the Food Bank
Anyone can pickup groceries for you as long as they are provided written permission for the person who has the appointment
After registering at the Food Bank, you are eligible for a Choice Shopping appointment every 14 days.
If you’re registered with us, we’ll just need to do a profile review.
Phone in and you can reschedule another day
It is important you attend your Shopping appointment or cancel if you are unable. This Shopping appointment time may have been used for another client. Multiple occurrences of missed appointments may result in suspension of services
